Seven representatives from the Arizona Chapter attended the National CMSA's "Day On The Hill" April 28th, 2010. There were over 100 representatives from all the chapters in attendance. In all, we met with seventy congressional and senate staff to promote the Case management Model Act, Standards of Practice for CM, and NationalTransitions of Care Coalition.

As a group, we offered assistance in the coming months to congressional and senate staffers in the event they should have questions regarding the role of case managers.

While in Washington, national board members also met with a representative of Health and Human Services and members of the White House staff to explain the role of Case Management.

Our trip was a great success and we look forward to continued involvement in the reform of health care.
